Pros

Being an employee instead of a contractor; Good support through your team leader and the online training available; Decent pay; Well-organized system both in logging client time on your dashboard and in getting paid

Cons

Can have (long) periods of time with no new work opportunities; Part of your job is interviewing with potential clients who may or may not sign up with Boldly depending on if they like you; Boldly continues to advertise for positions even if they don't necessarily have work available for that designated role

Thanks so much for taking the time to share your experience working with Boldly. Our team is currently fully booked, and we are in fact not able to hire quickly enough to keep up with demand. When you work with Boldly, we go to great lengths to match you with clients that are a good fit. You get to meet, giving you both a chance to decide whether you’d like to work together. We believe that this freedom of choice ultimately makes for the strongest and most fulfilling long-term partnerships...We are sorry that this didn’t work out for you. We wish you all the best in the future.

Pros

Boldly offers flexibility, completely remote work, client matching, work/life balance, pay increases/bonuses, PTO and paid holidays, training, and a matching 401K... even to part-time employees. FT employees have additional benefits like health and dental insurance. They genuinely care that you are happy and fulfilled at work and at home. They provide us with opportunities to interact with one another and stay motivated.

Cons

I really don't have any complaints. Boldly has changed my life.

Pros

I’ve worked remotely for over 10 years (and in offices for 15+), and this is by far the best company I’ve been a part of. The flexibility is unmatched — I'm able to work while still having balance in my personal life, which is incredibly important, especially as a mom and someone who cares for their parents. Leadership genuinely respects employees, and the support from both management and teammates makes remote work feel surprisingly connected and collaborative. The clients are professional, appreciative, and interesting to work with. I've been with my clients for multiple years. The company also does a great job connecting executive assistants with clients based on strengths, needs, and working style. After meeting each other, you both have the opportunity to decline working together before you get started, so partnerships are successful. Communication is transparent, expectations are clear, and there’s always someone willing to help when needed. Another huge plus is the culture. Even though everyone works remotely, you never feel isolated. The people here are kind, encouraging, and incredibly talented. I am so lucky I found Boldly!

Cons

The only downside is that Boldly is designed for people who truly want to build a long-term career as an executive assistant. If your goal is to move into completely different career paths or corporate leadership outside the EA field, this isnt the right position for you. But if you love executive support work and want flexibility, stability, great clients, and an amazing remote culture, this is honestly an incredible place to work.
