Pros
Everyone that works here is really committed to what we're doing, building a system (code + processes + people) from the ground up to change how insurance products are created, sold and managed. If you're not from the insurance world, this probably sounds boring, and to be honest it's never something you're going to be able to explain to your friends. But the actual work is really interesting and everyone's generally open to everyone else's ideas. The CEO and CTO are some of my favorite people I've worked with, they're both relentlessly positive, it's infectious. The company actively tries to make sure all the staff are doing well and enjoying their time, it's just a really well run place and I look forward to coming in every day (ok, most days, some days we all would rather be sleeping amiright).
Cons
Mostly office-related: smallish desks, awkward chairs, our office management company isn't always the best. But these are really minor compared to the great location, light and view (the Empire State Building!). And the company and people of course!
