Pros

The executive team is simply outstanding. I know from personal experience that they genuinely care about their employees and want them to succeed. Any employee at the company is free to reach out to these wonderful people and they will give you an audience. I cannot emphasize enough how great they are. The executives truly believe in the company and strive to manage it in an ethical manner. You get regular bonuses based on your performance. I am humbled by the generosity I received while working here. Boost is not obligated to do this, they do it because they value their employees. There is a ridiculous amount of opportunity for growth and advancement at Boost. They will often hire internally for most positions. If you perform well and possess capability you will have the chance to move up. There are always new job openings. I have seen a plethora of people start at the entry-level then progress to a career position. When you find the right team there is no better work environment. I made friendships at Boost that will last the rest of my life. The Human Resource department at Boost is superb. They always treated me with dignity, understanding, and respect. HR knows exactly what they are doing and they have my complete confidence.

Cons

You do need to “find the right position” here. Although there are many great employees at Boost, unfortunately there are also many employees who are childish and entitled. Some people are highly toxic and the many benefits they receive from boost only seem to exacerbate this issue. I understand why people have left reviews criticizing cliquishness and a poor work environment. Boost has lost some great employees over the years because the team members they were working with did not follow the core value of “Be Excellent to Everyone”. My advice for most people here is to shadow many teams until you find a great one then apply when a position opens. There are more good teams than bad ones, but the bad ones do exist. Team leads, mentors, supervisors; You’re basically flipping a coin on whether you’ll have good team leadership. Some teams suffer from weak leadership. Leaders need to care about their employees and understand when they are pushing them too hard. Leaders need to be able to communicate with clarity, coherence, and professionalism. Leaders need to inspire and uplift while hitting their performance goals. If a leader has not been able to do these things then we need to give some other Boost employees the chance to lead instead.

Pros

Direct management was incredible. Some fun activities and team bonding

Cons

Upper management went south really fast, blame it on the industry but when multiple rounds of layoffs hit it felt more about profit margin then the people.
