Pros
If you love staying active, you are always moving in this role! You get to develop your planning, presentation, and event facilitation skills. There's also a lot of opportunities to get creative and keep students, parents, and staff enagaged.
Cons
There is a lot of heavy lifting in the role and little tools to support. I'm not a fan of the cut the company takes when the mission is supporting schools; it does not seem fair to me and I constantly felt like I was scamming students and excluding those who could not afford to donate. I also experienced a couple moments of microagressions from management, which were a major factor in me leaving before the school year ended.
