Great leadership and laid back attitudes.

Some of the company politics felt a little weird at times, but it never really affected me.

One of the most morally upstanding companies I have had the opportunity to work with! I was there during a period of rapid growth and change, which often brings discontent but to their credit all these changes went relatively smoothly and seamlessly. This company is all about helping the less fortunate, the little guy, people that needed help. Ths in itself was a huge pro and something I truly loved about working there. The people working there from the top down are very engaged and committed to what they do. Many employees have worked there since the company formed nearly 10 years ago. They care about their employees and community. They live by their mission and values and it shows in how passionate the entire team is. Borrowworks as a company was/is passionate and committed to establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with their clients and employees and others they did business with. Catered lunches every month, spirit committees, recognizing excellence in work being done, career-pathing, even a fitness center AND personal trainer on-site various days! They also encourage development and further education by way of courses and management development programs.

While no company is perfect, Borrowworks did strive to be as exceptional as possible. Still, an occasional technological glitch or change in process would sometimes make things difficult for the customer facing staff. This was usually minor and the entire technological team was very engaged in attempting to resolve issues before they occurred; and responses/resolutions to issues that did happen were extremely rapid, within minutes or hours, not days or weeks.
