Pros
As stared in numerous other reviews, this is a good place to gain experience in a fast paced environment. Furthermore, individual employees can be very friendly and welcoming.
Cons
There is a constant influx of vulnerable recent college graduates, hired because they will long hours without adequate compensation and can be paid below industry standard because they do not know better. More experienced analysts frequently leave as they realize that their hard work will not be rewarded with anything other than platitudes and an increased work load. This turn over leads to abbreviated training and new employees being set up to fail in this environment. The onus is then placed on the employee who has likely been in their position for little more than a couple of weeks and given only cursory training before being given work that was due yesterday by their similarly overworked group leader. Furthermore, there is a frequent expectation of working unpaid overtime. Bad behavior, e.g., frequent use of derogatory language including slurs, sexual harassment, is ignored if the perpetrators are friends with management, despite the number of times it is brought up to them. A half-hearted attempt at employee feedback was attempted in late 2021 into early 2022. However, concerns brought up in these surveys were dismissed or outright ignored. The surveys were then quietly discontinued and have not resumed as of February 2023.
