Pros
My supervisors and our team are some of the best around which is why I think so many of us stayed after the take over. Many other locations lost up to half of their staff. The work with the patients is the toughest job you will ever love. I had the sense for the last several years that there was an attitude of "we are all in this together" from the CEO down. I had planned to remain with the company until retirement. Before the take over, we had many employees who had been with the company for 20 plus years.
Cons
We went from 11 paid holidays to 6. We had good benefits and vacation time. We lost half of our vacation time and most of our benefits. It is very clear where we stand with the new company: We do not matter and they can just replace us at any time.
