Pros

Health and dental benefits were ok not great. Some managers try harder than others to help their team make their goals. Lots of favoritism.

Cons

Outdated system, long hours on your feet, outsourced HR, little incentive for advancement, favoritism runs rampant, long days, nights and weekends, dishonest with customers. Little room for growth. New owners. Growing too fast with much uncertainty. Lots of surveys that led to no change.

Pros

If you ask many employees one thing they enjoy about working at Boston Interiors, it would be that this company is like a family. I recently had a situation arise and spoke with my managers about it. The way that the management team listened to me, offered honest feedback, and worked to meet my needs far exceeded my expectations. If you work hard, treat others with respect, and have a passion for what you do, then Boston Interiors will stand behind you.

Cons

It is a smaller company with an older operating system, which can make some tasks more time-consuming.

Pros

If you're creative, this job is easy Vendors came a few times to train about their products which was the most helpful.

Cons

Cliquey environment in certain stores. Pressure to sell in order to reach your goal, or they put you on sales probation which can lead to termination if you are not able to meet required sales goals. Training is an absolute joke. 1 week of onboarding to go over people in the company, and basics of the AS400 system which is outdated so it will take you a few months to get familiar. All of their product information is available on the computer which they expect you to train yourself on down time, learn the product, and effectively talk about the product to customers to meet high sales goals. Work- Life balance: You don't always get to leave when the store closes and they require over 1 month in advance to take time off.
