This is the only hospital in town and they have bought up almost all the clinics and surgery centers in town. The management knows that the RNs have no other place to work so they keep pay hideously low. The union contract is particularly painful for those of us who came to the hospital with years of experience. Culture of Safety is all a marketing ploy.
