Pros
The pay and benefits are quite good. They are a large company but they care about the individual and treat everyone like family. Nearly all the equipment is less than 3 years old and very well maintained. Only a few "beaters" that are rarely used, but those just add character! Extremely safety oriented, safety really is the priority here.
Cons
The Braen family are very religious and a little religion can be found in the company, however it is not overwhelming. The occasional prayer before and after large company events is about the extent of it. I am personally not a religious person and this is not a problem for me. They do not force you to participate in any religious activity, nor require anyone to follow the same religious beliefs. Also expect to work long days spring through fall, then laid off during the coldest winter days. 11-12 hour days are typical during the busy season including half day Saturdays.
