Pros
The game masters pour their heart and soul into the work, and many of the guests are kind, funny, and make the job worth it. It's low stakes but at times high pressure. This is great for steady WEEKEND hours if you're a college student or ambitious high schooler wanting your first leadership role. Also a great job for people with ADHD! Extroverts will thrive here.
Cons
Stay far away from this if you need a reliable job or to be paid fairly for full time work. I had some of the best, most consistent hours but it would still fluctuate between 60 hour weeks and 15 hour weeks. There are 0 benefits even if you regularly make 40+ hours unless you are a salaried general manager. There is no sick pay or vacation, and the cost of getting food delivered there is exorbitant, so everyone fights over a single mini fridge to store their food on weekends where you're expected to be there for up to 14 hours. They only recently started giving people meal breaks and I was fired for making reasonable suggestions for improving the working conditions. Not a friendly environment for people with autism or PTSD, and management has nepotistic tendencies.
