Pros
The job itself is lovely. Lots of opportunities to meet guests, learn valuable things, and work on an interesting schedule. I would have stayed there longer if I could, I very much enjoyed the position. Pay was not great, but it was easy, enjoyable, and (ignoring outside sources) opportunistic.
Cons
Management at the location is unprofessional and unreliable, and this is coming from someone who was stuck in the middle of it. Routinely unprofessional and constantly let personal motives outweigh responsibility, especially when it came to hiring. Would hire friends, and would refuse to deal with issues when they were brought up, including concerns from other members of staff. Rules matter until it comes to upper management, and favoritism is constant. The information you would receive would depend on how close you were to upper management. There was a push to become friendly with coworkers outside of work, otherwise you would be constantly left out of meetings and focused on less, leading to a lot of miscommunication between managers. Would get guilt-tripping, unprofessional calls from upper management if this was mentioned, however. Management lies to corporate about projects to get out of messes that were made without the knowledge of anyone else, despite them having to be the ones to take on the workload that was promised. Deadlines for large projects were absurd, often resulting in low morale. Conversations were largely unprofessional a good amount of the time, with upper management bringing up inappropriate and personal events. I can't speak for what has been happening after I left the company, but it has only gotten worse from what I've heard. Good job, but keep your head down and do your work. Ignoring any interpersonal drama (good or bad) is a must.
