I really enjoy building relationships with my customers

Cons

The salary and commission structure is horrible. You have to hit a certain percentage of your monthly goals to get fully paid out on commission and they inflate goal numbers so it is IMPOSSIBLE to hit %100 payouts. Ask any rep, no one hits all of their goals. Only $50 a month for gas. I usually spend over 50 A WEEK on gas. Work life balance is very poor. You might have 1 or 2 accounts to hit on a given day yet your still expected to be "working" until 4:30 cutoff. You're also not allowed to take any PTO from October until the new year. This is understanding during December as the holidays are busy but it is absurd not to carve out some pto before Thanksgiving and Christmas. We as a team regularly had meetings after 6pm. Managers are young and inexperienced. Turnover is terrible for this position new reps come and go every few months. You're expected to be promoted to a Field manager and they barely make more than their reps make.

Vacation policy was great my direct manger made sure we used it.

Lots of favoritism between departments. Sales always seemed to be favorite

Pros

Flexibility of schedule. My coworkers and direct manager were mostly great, more my manager than anything.

Cons

Terrible upper management. It was a new program for Diageo and the amount of money wasted on BS blew my mind. Pay for your employees gas.
