Pros

Good products, most people there actually care about their work. Everyone works on-site in rural Gap PA, so no remote work. No need to be politically correct, didn't shut down at all for covid. The founders are great, genuine people but a little disconnected from the middle management issues.

Cons

Continually changing organizational structure. Culture of nepotism. High turnover (and former employees get better roles quickly...) Empty promises to employees about bonuses/profit sharing or advancement opportunities. If you’re applying here, please get all negotiated compensation and KPIs in writing. Day to day expectations are often not clearly defined, and feedback is more of a buzzword than helpful guidance for knowing where you stand with your performance. 401k doesn’t start until you’ve been there for one year *and* it’s Jan 1… Health insurance is ok for a small company, not great though. Super high deductible.

Pros

I worked as the Executive Assistant to the CEO and really enjoyed my time at Breeo. The team is full of genuinely good people who care about the work and support each other. Leadership is down-to-earth, and which made it easy to speak up and be involved. I had a ton of opportunities to learn new things and take on projects outside the typical EA scope, which helped me grow a lot. It’s a fast-moving company with a strong mission, and it always felt like we were building something meaningful, not just going through the motions.

Cons

It’s a very dynamic environment with lots of moving pieces, so being flexible and open to change is important. It’s a great fit for someone who enjoys variety and doesn’t want a rigid, predictable routine.

Pros

Cool product and some coworkers that genuinely care.

Cons

The CEO has created a toxic environment for everyone. It's a flat organization, with every role micro-managed by a CEO with the equivalent of an 8th grade education. If you're looking for a job environment where you feel valued and respected for hard work, this isn't it. In order to survive, most of those who are left have learned to blame and scapegoat, just like the CEO, in order to save their own skin.
