Pros

The pay is based off commission, so the more work you can handle, the more money you will make. The administrative staff is awesome! The boss, really cares about his employees. We sometimes get gas cards and gift cards. During hot seasons, we have access to free sports drinks. During cold seasons, we have free hand/foot warmers and access to a Keurig! We meet many great new people as customers, and sometimes the information they share can have a great impact. We get extra cash every week as an incentive for simply doing our job and being on time. There are also (biweekly) paycheck bonuses for each week we pass a certain amount of money, similar to doing overtime except it’s the amount of money you make instead of the hours you work. Oh and TIPS! Many of our customers tip VERY WELL.

Cons

The work is not easy! Sometimes you are exposed to harsh weather conditions (rain, sun, wind, heat/cold). Although you can make your own income goal, during the winter it is not as much work available, so you MAY experience a lay-off until work picks up again. Not every customer will be nice 🙃. It is physically demanding. You need great time management. You drive your own vehicle (mileage is reimbursed).

Pros

You work Monday through Friday. Saturday work is available many times and is mostly on a volunteer basis. When it is mandated, you are able to choose which Saturday's you take work you will be able to choose these Saturday's in advance. The work can be demanding, however if you manage time wisely and are able to clean quickly and efficiently while providing quality work, you are compensated well. This is a job that requires you to be self reliant. The more you put into it the more you get back. Management is strict on the procedures and expects employees to comply. This is what makes the management unique from other jobs. I have worked MANY other jobs that set policies and procedures that are inconsistently enforced. I enjoy working in an environment in which a person who does not comply is not compensated the same as those who do comply. If you want a job that doesn't involve doing quality work while watching others get away with non quality work, this is definitely the place to be. The morale has also significantly increased since July 2016.

Cons

Winter is very difficult. You must be able to handle working long periods of time in the elements to succeed at this job.
