Pros

Coworkers empathize with each other through the common stresses and difficulties in their daily work. Pay for mid level and high level employees is competitive. Salesforce platform used.

Cons

Many leadership roles have been filled with newer employees that care little for the pre-existing employees. Ever changing processes that don’t achieve significant improvement. Micro-management. High turnover. Pay for entry level/ below high level employees is not competitive for the Denver area. Stressful work environment. Lack of structure within work flows. Lack of clinical employees to support patients. CEO will write back on these online reviews to maintain company image but that does not change anything. The issues with BridgeHealth remain. If you are looking for stability, structure, mobility, and positive atmosphere then look elsewhere.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. I am sorry to hear that as a current employee you are so dissatisfied with your choice of employment. Several of your comments have been addressed in previous responses, so I would like to respond to some of your other points. I am not responding to reviews to maintain the Company’s image. In fact, I have not shied away from acknowledging where we’ve made mistakes, the challenges the team has faced, and defending those groups that deserve a voice. Like our business model that promotes transparency in healthcare, the leadership team and I have been very open about the company’s state – past, present and future. This candidness is not for the faint of heart and at times may cause confusion or uncertainty if the person who receives the information does not necessarily understand some of the terms or concepts. It’s in these instances, and others, when I would expect people to speak up and ask questions or request additional clarity. Perhaps you do not fully grasp our business model, but the nature of our business does not require that we have clinicians on staff. In fact, we should not be dispensing medical advice to members, which is why we have member-facing employees acknowledge this fact. We connect members with providers based on the surgical recommendations that their own physicians make. Even though our model doesn’t require clinicians, several members of our leadership team have held clinical roles; we’ve also had a Chief Medical Officer on our team for years. As another “Happy Employee” recently posted, startups and turnarounds have unique challenges, but also tremendous opportunities for those who can ride out the bumps. Organizations that have been in existence for many years or who are not pioneering new space may seem like “safer” options; however, these organizations still have their own set of challenges. There are also organizations where employees don’t have a voice and those who speak up are silenced; BridgeHealth is not one of those organizations, and I am not that type of leader. You have identified yourself as a current employee. I would encourage you to be part of the solution and talk with me about ideas you have for improvement. I am listening, and want to know how we can create a better company. Otherwise, I hope you recognize that you alone drive your own happiness, and that may mean seeking opportunities that better complement your needs and desires.

Thank you for your 5-star review! I’m humbled by your compliment, but any great work I might be doing is the result of the team I stand alongside. Your assessment of BridgeHealth is accurate. As disruptors, we don’t have the benefit of learning from others’ mistakes. Instead we are making the mistakes, learning from them, and moving on. 2019 has been a year of positive momentum both in terms of outperforming forecasts and beating record highs that we surpassed earlier this year. These successes don’t come without bumps in the road, and to your point, as a company well-poised for growth, the most successful team members understand the collaboration, grit, and team first mentality it takes to have fun on this journey. Thank you for your continued service. If you have ideas on how we can evolve our “great culture” please stop by. I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Pros

The rare kind of job that makes you feel really good about the work you are doing and knowing it is making a difference in the market and more importantly, in peoples lives. The recognized leader in the rapidly growing Value-Based healthcare space, with a tremendous market opportunity (INC. 5000 three years in a row!). Highly skilled and experienced people at all levels that are extremely passionate about the work they are doing. A dynamic and collaborative culture, filled with humble, selfless people who respect and care for each other and all other internal/external stakeholders. Serious work, being performed by people who do not take themselves too seriously and know how to joke and have fun.

Cons

Current office space is dated and cramped at times, brand new space/furniture is coming, just not fast enough. Technology pains that are typical of start-up companies as they prepare to scale, but I can see the light.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback and review! I share your enthusiasm for BridgeHealth’s pioneering efforts in the value-based healthcare space, and agree that our progress and accomplishments would not be possible if not for the commitment and expertise of our talented team. Many elements of our company excite me and in addition to delivering hard-dollar cost savings to our customers the next one I am most proud of is our ability to have fun and celebrate our successes and wins – no matter how large or small. As our organization continues to evolve, I am committed to not losing sight of what makes BridgeHealth a place where people want to be. I certainly want to be there! Our new office is going to be amazing and a true reflection of the positive and bright future of BridgeHealth and value-based healthcare. Thank you for your continued contributions as a member of our team! I welcome your additional comments - stop by; I welcome the feedback!
