Pros
Transparency including the ability to speak truth to power make this an interesting place to work. The ability to make a logical case for any course of action and have it debated almost entirely on its merits is quite powerful. Salaries - very well compensated, even in tech areas, and it's all cash . Benefits - best healthcare benefits in the world. 401k match is great.
Cons
You have to be willing to listen to and discuss your own faults, and make a logical case for anything! Not all lessons learned will be applicable to other companies. Small-ish company means limited opportunities for advancement or senior roles. Tech environment is dated.
