Pros
Decent benefits and parent company AMA treats the staff well.
Cons
Inept leadership, discriminatory behaviour, inaccurate numbers and procedures (for a bank, that is inexcusable), gross favouritism and a boss who expects you to be professional when he will show up to every meeting without an agenda and is typically late. Staff shortages abound with burnout being a real concern. The biggest issue is the mistreatment of staff. Gaslighting is a prominent tactic and you had better hope you are aligned with the leader or your time at the bank will be rocky. I never felt like I was treated like family and was eager to leave as soon as possible( from the bank’s side and not from AMA). No growth opportunities due to questionable staff modelling and work distribution.
