Pros

- Good people (besides c-suite)

Cons

Where to begin... - Poor management - CEO runs everything based on popularity, hires her friends who have no experience and they magically get multiple promotions a month in - Terrible work/life balance (even though that is one of the "perks") - Belittling during team meetings when concerns are brought up - Shady practices Overall a terrible place to work.

Pros

I have been very impressed by level of communication—and communication style—across the company. There is certainly a lot to do, as there is at any startup, but Bridgit is relatively free from the frenetic throw-spaghetti-at-the-wall approach that's far too common at startups. No egos + empathetic executives make for a solid culture. Resources (budget, tools, etc.) are available as needed.

Cons

Collaborating across timezones can be tricky, but worth it in exchange for the benefits of remote work.

Pros

They have a best in class product, a big market opportunity, and strong growth. They actually care about work life balance. The exec team are good humans with a clear vision and lots of transparency, and they avoid the chaotic thrash and poor decision-making that plague a lot of startups of this size. They've recently brought on several experienced leaders that actually understand how startups work and evolve, and morale is strong. I felt compelled to write given some of the recent negative reviews, which seem to be based on things that happened 12-18 months ago when times were tougher, and different leaders were in place, I couldn't be happier to be at Bridgit.

Cons

Not really any cons. If you don't like fully remote work, then it isn't the place for you. However we have in-person get togethers and office spaces to keep connections strong.
