Pros
Leadership, at both the engineering and company level, genuinely cares about people, and recognizes the long-term failing strategy of flogging people. The culture of mutual respect, no blame, collaborative work is real and fantastic. Continual investment in ensuring employees are healthy, happy, and engaged seems to be paying off in a great crew of dedicated staff.
Engineering-led efforts to rein in technical debt, and shore up legacy implementations with proper monitoring, hardening, etc are met with acceptance and appropriately prioritized against product-driven backlogs.
Cons
Company has had to make a couple of pivots in the past year and a half (who hasn't had to?). Those pivots have caused disruption, and contributed to some chaos. It's not real clear what our long-term viability is.
