It's been awhile, but wanted to post the reality for anyone working in the administrative duties like A/R, A/P, payroll, or HR. They are extremely understaffed and ignore "burn-out" help requests from employees. A favorite phrase was "we have opportunities for the right person", but the reality is opportunities to burn people out and ignore the need for more help until the last minute, if at all. If you apply for management the hours will still be long, but if applying for admin? Stay away! You will have very little work/life balance. Managers are very overworked as well. It is a revolving door of employees, from admin to management.
