Pros

Decent benefits and pay for a grocery store

Cons

I was hired for the job, told I would be the only chalk artist to work there. Signed papers for this. The first day I showed up, I was told I was the assistant chalk artist, and would mainly be working the floor bagging groceries and whatnot, and help with sign art as needed. I was completely blindsided. HQ did absolutely nothing. The "main" chalk artist employee harassed me continuously, took down all my signs, and crossed the line multiple times. HR did absolutely nothing and basically told me to stop being so sensitive. Hours are crazy, I had to come in at 4 am, and would have to sit there until 6am when the prices came in to change. Most of the job as a sign artist is sitting there and waiting for people to give you signs to fix. They don't let you park in the parking lot at this location, and make you park on the street as an employee which is absolutely absurd. I once made a simple mistake on one of the signs, and the manager called me in the office to proceed to tell me "She can't have liars working for her".. again what? This was one simple mistake. I don't like the company, they have poor morals and don't care about employees. It's a dead-end job. The most you can make is $20 an hour but they'll start you at $15 and never give you a raise. Which in LA, is not nearly enough to survive.

Pros

I always got full hours even when I was part time.

Cons

Unnecessary stress for a job that should not consume your life. The locations I’ve worked at all employees (ESPECIALLY OPS) act like high schoolers
