Pros
Money was good for a while. Very rare to have work slowdowns. A good bit of autonomy, sometimes too much. Company paid vehicle (take home) and gas card.
Cons
Where do I start. Inadequate training. Company philosophy is that you wont last 3 months so why bother. Promoting from within: Incompetent tech now becomes a mentor and the cycle continues. Way too many long days, evenings, weekends and Holidays. Small pay bump for Holidays that we used to have off w/pay, even Christmas. This is why family life, social life, etc. suffers and the lack of recognition and focusing on negatives burn everyone out eventually.
