Pros

My boss was nice and tried to make a positive environment for everyone but she felt like she was fighting against the company to do it. Anyways she quit.

Cons

The company does not do any research to keep them competitive in the market. You spend all day completing out bids RFQ’s RFPs and a lot of times the workload gets overwhelming with little support. The insurance wasn’t very good. You aren’t even allowed to wear headphones to help keep focused while you’re at your desk because they don’t let people down in the production area where headphones and they feel like everybody has to be equal which makes no sense because the jobs are different and we don’t have to be as concerned about safety. The pay was absolutely dismal. This was back in 2019 but I was only making $11.90 an hour. Had to complete bids and quotes for every single request that came in, even if it was a company that we hadn’t done business with in like 10 years. There was absolutely no research done to see what we can do to make things more competitive. All of the software that we used was outdated/clunky/not user-friendly and all created in house and even the website looks like it was made in 1991. The whole place looks like it hasn’t been updated since the 1980s and there was always a lot of dust in the vents. Everyone was overworked and honestly overall it’s just a bad place to work.

Pros

Nice fellow workers. Steady work.

Cons

Production expectations are unreasonable, especially in view of the poor pay. Management sees workers as being numbers and not human beings. Rapid turnover of workers.
