Pros

Working for a large company

Cons

Lack of true leadership, unclear scope of work, micromanagement, dishonesty, favouritism based on hidden/undisclosed unethical relationships between management team and executives or team members, executives/directors are afraid of team contributions and feel jeopardised from strong team members, brown nosing is huge...and the list goes on (Too much to write here). They like to show and act like a big company but realistically some of the leadership team and directors need to be reassessed for their lack of true leadership skills. Very toxic environment and people in the company talk bad behind each others back about one another but show a different face when they are face to face. To be honest, there are a lot of great people too but they are waiting for a core change. It is like living in a country when people are waiting to get rid of a dysfunctional and dictatorship government but they are afraid to voice their concerns. I would not recommend this company now but in the future I would if it changes and gets rid of some key management members. I really wish I have a safe opportunity to sit down with the CEO (Joe) who is a great guy and tell him what's going on. This can change the place drastically!

Pros

Good place to start off. Whether you want to dabble in insurance or use this as a stepping stone, they do have a thorough training program. Depending on the people you work with, they really make this job tolerable as well.

Cons

There’s is too many places to start, I may need chat gpt to help me keep this clear and concise. 1) work life balance would not exist if it were up to this company. They would work you 24/7 if they could get away with it (they will shamelessly use corporate lingo to insinuate this regardless lol) 2) career growth here is something they like to dangle in front of you. It’s almost like they use your career aspirations as ammunition to get what they want from you. Their best interest comes before yours. And you better believe the goal post will always be moving 3) I never really was exposed to what it feels like to be treated as just a number until I worked here 4) the amount of changes they will stuff down your throat and expect it to have no impact on your overall performance while adjusting is truly mind boggling 5) you will not be paid fairly. So maximize the training and experience, and leverage it to go elsewhere to really get paid what you deserve

Pros

Managers are quite friendly and available to assist

Cons

They monitor you everytime except when you have a manager that can defend you. There’s no job security
