Pros

I bought anything I wanted for my office, and spent $3000 on supplies. No issues or push back and we needed the stuff

Cons

We enforced policy like “ show up on time” do the required tasks of your job” and “ refill meds on time”. We lost so many staff as a consequence we had to do their jobs too. The onboarding of one new caregiver or med tech took 30 days! That’s 30 days I’m on call every night to cover a call out. It was nuts! I worked through every lunch and 12 hr shifts on multiple weekends until we couldn’t do it safely anymore. The benefits are also poor. They use some health exchange and I couldn’t see my pediatrician. Some management was on Medicare because the benefits were so poor. Crazy.

Pros

The pay at my location is pretty decent thanks to our Executive Director and HR person. That has changed recently as new corporate leadership has taken over and our leaders have to fight for every penny for us.

Cons

Don't let all of the "best workplace" awards fool you, this company is one of the worst I've ever worked for. The corporate leadership team micromanages to destruction. The community leadership teams are left being told what to do and every move to make with no authority or autonomy. If you say blue, they say red and if you change to red they then say blue. The HR team begs the employees to complete surveys, the company is disorganized, and its no surprise they are selling off communities to try to get out of debt. Save yourself a headache and go to one of the many other senior living organizations across the US.
