Toxic environment with little regard for employees - Deli Team Leader Buc-ee's Employee Review

Management doesn’t care about you. Everyone is expendable and they care more about people having dogs inside or 18 wheelers parking on site than any employees problems or self. Work-life balance is awful; and with that, they give a ton of work to do during your shift and if you forget to clock-in or out, you’ll get wrote up.. instead of them fixing it and realizing that you’re busting your butt for them. They much rather you come to work sick and contagious than to stay home… workaholic environment with no care for customer service and just received an F recently by the Better Business Bureau. Training is awful, people constantly getting sick because of germs, hard workers rarely ever recognized for their hard work by any management, overall if you like to be used and treated as a number, like to go home in tears and frustration, and feel like trash and unwanted, this is the job for you. They try to cover it all up with high hourly pay. This is not like all the other reviews, this is genuine and I’m a hard worker who cares for others and appreciates hard workers and people who sacrifices for others and customers. Bucees doesn’t do that. Don’t work here.
