Pros

Plenty of trigger time to get your skills up. Nice pay for the security field.

Cons

Too much of a schmoozing company. The training at the range wastes a lot of time because no one planned the day out. The company men are way too over the top with how tactical an armed guard needs to be.

Pros

The pay is twice the amount of any other local security agency at 20 hr and there is free training that is at times beneficial for your growth in this industry. Most of the people that work for the company are ex military or PD and are generally a great bunch of guys to work with. The contracts are confidential but no silly uniforms and mostly professional plain clothes. Big boy rules apply on judgement and very little micromanagement by supervisors and leadership. There are some static posts but at a higher tier and respectable level (no fat/old security guard impression)

Cons

Because they pay twice as much everything else is nonexistent. No benefits, no paid days off, and the work is sometimes far and few between. You are required to pay for all your own gear and expected to show up for "volunteer" training days UNPAID and pay for ammo which the company sells out of the back of a truck or you wont get calls for work. At the end of a training day you end up paying close to $200 for ammo and gear. There are full time positions but you have to know the top guys and volunteer your unpaid time doing volunteer work or training to be recognized and earn a full time position. High turn around due to lack of career progression in this company.
