Pros

Interesting accounts, some incredible people

Cons

Management is a clique, with many directors, senior directors and managing directors conspiring to fire lower level staff that they do not deem as “worthy” Inconsequential mistakes are treated as urgent emergencies or a lack of competence (even if it is something that can be quickly corrected). Extreme favoritism across the entire firm. This is often seen in how non-black staff treat black staff. Vague feedback from management on performance Successes are never elevated or someone at a higher pay grade will take credit for your work Training and camaraderie is very much so overlooked, with junior level staff (that have more tenure) often training senior staff who will become their bosses. You will work weekends. No question about it. The agency recruits talent that is interested in left leaning communications work, but caters to right leaning corporate clients because they “pay the bills.” Unclear/changing expectations for one’s role. This is especially true on the client services team. The pay is low.
