Pros

Great employee sales. Multi-national environment. Friendly team, very supportive.

Cons

We’ve been WFH for 1.5 years during the pandemic, but as soon as the lockdown was lifted in Aug 2021 we were made to return to our Leeds office full time from 7am to 8pm (shifts). Apparently assisting customers by phone/chats gets affected if we have wifi issues at home. However, many of us have had no problems with their wifi connections. In addition, the support/admin team who don’t take calls/chats etc. have also been made to come back to the office full time even though they can technically WFH permanently. Flexible working options not considered - even during the fuel crisis we were not offered an option to WFH. The CS Operations team in London still WFH full time, and so do the other departments (Finance, IT, HR) in our building with an option to work in the office if they want to. Many people have left because of the immense pressure to sell our products and micromanagement. Some who are still working in CS are frustrated about lack of flexibility. Although Burberry does put a lot of effort on mental health, CS seems to be in another planet.
