Pros
- family business, so pretty close knit. - 50% off one food item per shift - kind of flexible hours - great coworkers - multiple locations
Cons
- only 50% off of one food item -- although it is nice to have a percentage off, all other places I have worked allow one item completely free (also they do not do burgers and fries together so you would have to pay full price for either one's counterpart) - not sure if a pro or con but everyone only takes the tips from the tables they worked that day. This makes it pretty competitive for servers but there is usually a organized order that takes into account number of people in parties and who does/doesn't have tables. - since it is a family business, there is often a owner nearby to tell you what you are doing wrong. Also when I worked there it seemed that the owners did not agree on some things so I would be taught one thing and then told I was doing it wrong by someone else. - long shifts, i would usually work closing shifts which was 12-11 (includes one hour of closing and one hour break)
