Pros

There was money to be made and some coworkers are enjoyable.

Cons

The CEO can talk about every big idea he has over and over again, but you will never see it happen. Every conversation he has is an overexaggerated version of what actually took place. If you ask a question that reflects on him, you are only giving him the chance to build his ego. No one is happy, and no one will ever be happy here. This place is a high school hallway where everyone talks about each other, spreads rumors, and causes problems. You find two good people, and you're lucky if that. Everyone used to know what they were doing, but the CEO has made everyone so beaten down that nobody knows what they're doing anymore. On their best day, sure. On every other day, it's like watching your grandma try to unlock her phone. Morale is so low, its disappointing to see people come in and change overtime. Bonding with your coworkers is forced, and company trips to Cincinnati are required to do the weirdest activities and talk about things that could be over Teams. Its strange when every other place I've worked has allowed me to have a drink at dinner but here the CEO doesn't you to drink when bonding with the team at activities.

Pros

Whatever pros you might have read about this company are all lies. Don't fall for them. My experience here so far has been nothing but a complete disappointment.

Cons

Burtch Work is a failing company with an alarmingly high turnover rate, and that is for several reasons. Employees are overworked, underpaid, and unappreciated. They're given unreasonable demands, forced to shoulder overwhelming workloads, and are pressured to meet tight deadlines all the time. The work they do always goes unacknowledged and unrewarded, which has made a lot of employees frustrated and demotivated. Beside the brutal workloads and stressful deadlines, the salaries employees are paid are insultingly low. Opportunities to advance are incredibly scarce as well because of how biased the leadership and management are, so don't even bother trying to stand out from the rest of your colleagues. A lot of the leadership is incompetent and lazy. They make a lot of mistakes, which they never learn from, because they refuse to take any accountability for their actions. They neglect to listen to employees concern and feedback, and leave problems in the workplace to fester instead of resolving them as soon as possible. One of the biggest challenges to working here is the management. The managers here are aggressive, caustic, challenging, and lacking in empathy. They tend to criticize employees while simultaneously hurling insults at them instead of being strictly constructive. Their hostile personalities are a pain to deal with.
