Pros
Some good colleagues and opportunities to learn what not to do.
Cons
Leadership behaviour contributes to an unhealthy workplace culture and does not inspire confidence, instead contributing to poor decision-making and a culture of blame.
Issues involving multiple co-workers within teams are often attributed to individuals, and there is pressure to accept responsibility for matters that are not within your control.
Concerns raised about workplace behaviour are not adequately supported by the HR process; in fact, the opposite is often the case. During discussions, references are made to workplace investigations against employees raising concerns. These references can come across as intimidating and are then not subsequently carried out, leaving employees confused as to why they were mentioned in the first place.
Employee concerns across all areas are not handled in a transparent or constructive manner.
Having worked in other environments, I believe a more respectful and constructive culture is achievable.
