Pros

Great council to work for as part of and LEA. Plenty of support when needed and supported staff through transitioning to a MAT

Cons

As with anything with teaching you often need a union representative to get things sorted when it hits the fan.

Pros

- Work colleagues are wonderful

Cons

- They take away flexible working. - They don't hire enough staff to maintain appropriate staffing levels to manage the job and instead expect the current staff to add more to their workload when they are already stretched to the max. - You advise you need help to department leads to get a referral for wellbeing health services and nothing is done about it. - They restructure every fews years and change the job and amount of people needed for the department just enough that they make you re-apply for your job each time and give you uncertainty about being able to keep your job despite having a 'permanent' job. - They don't honour long-standing working arrangements the help you manage your work/life balance in order to be able to keep your job when it comes to restructures. - Training is practically none existant.
