Pros
- The vision is meaningful (we are teaching languages to millions around the world!) and the product is getting better every day - The company is growing extremely fast - the team has more than doubled in size since I have joined - Awesome team spirit and very talented colleagues - everyone is working extremely hard to make things happen. We have quarterly team events, hackdays and last year we even went to Crete on holidays together - The company is investing in my personal growth (you get yearly learning budgets and can go to conferences) and I am learning A LOT as a professional. OKRs are related to your personal development. - Amazing new offices - probably best roof top terrace in town overlooking Finsbury Square :-)
Cons
- You have to work hard (also sometimes longer hours) and the management and rest of the team have very high expectations - but hey, that's why people love it here! - If you don't perform, the management is relatively strict in people not passing probation or making changes. Again, I rather see the positives of this.
