Benefits, hourly rate, time and a half, bonuses if you run a lot of calls in a single shift, good exposure to hospitals/the medical career field, freedom to drive around for food or whatever when there's no call, little oversight from supervisors/freedom to operate as you please, cool co-workers and supervisors
Cons
Only scheduled about a week in advance, they're short staffed so will ask you to cover shifts or work at more distance locations, feeling rushed to run calls quickly, full time you'll work 80-95 hrs every two weeks (good and bad), filling out call reports, getting held over end time to run calls (if an earlier call is delayed and a later one is then pushed back you still have to run the later one)
