Pros
I need to express that there are definitely areas for improvement in this job. While the coworkers are acceptable, I believe there should be more positive aspects to discuss.
Cons
Starting with the cons, the staffing situation is unacceptable. The team is consistently short-staffed, functioning with a minimal crew. If even one person calls in sick, it creates chaos. The living accommodations are subpar; staying in a garden shed would be more comfortable. The facilities lack basic hygiene, with moldy rooms and an unbearable smell. Management is problematic at all levels. There is a culture of bullying and harassment, and the promises made about prioritizing family and providing accessible childcare are false. If you need to take time off for your child, expect to be reprimanded. The supposed nursery does not exist for team members currently employed. The buildings are in disrepair and require significant renovations. Furthermore, there’s an infuriating clause in the contract stating that you can be assigned to any location at their whim, regardless of what you signed. When you approach HR, or as they call it, the "people team," to address feelings of being belittled by management, coworkers, or guests, you quickly realize they are indifferent to your concerns. This is a toxic environment that needs urgent attention.
