Improperly Run - Anonymous employee Butter & Crust Employee Review

I worked as a Delivery Rider (Ebike) for Butter and Crust LTD between August 2024 and May 2025 - about 10 months. I honestly had an awesome time working there. The staff are really friendly and professional and the there is a fun atmosphere at the warehouse. They care about their delivery riders and work hard to make sure you have a good and safe experience - they often offer free Lucozade, Choco Bars and Hand Warmers! And the great perk is you often get free Sourdough bread at the end of your shift! The pay is reliably above minimum wage. Genuinely nice place to work!

Late night shifts can be a bit tiring.

Lots of autonomy, creative freedom and chances to grow. Lovely cofounders who care deeply about their team. Many free croissants!

Fast-paced/fast-growth environment might not be for everyone (like most start-ups). But I loved it!
