Pros
There are some great people in the corporate office, as well as the stores. Not sure if that's the whole "adversity binds people together" thing or not, but there are some wonderful people encountered on a daily basis.
Cons
There is a "good ole boy" mentality to the entire structure of the company, and it's commonplace for department directors to literally scream at their employees or other department employees. There was a palpable fear of "who is going to be on the hit list next" whenever a door was closed - no one knew who was about to be written up, suspended or fired for irritating the director/buddy of the CEO... I saw it happen more times than I can count during my time there. Truly some of the worst years of my life enduring the treatment there from management.
