Pros

The company is passionate about helping both publishers and advertisers grow their brands. There's a fantastic culture of experimentation, moving quickly, and solving some of the larger problems in adtech and marketing. BuySellAds takes an uncommon approach to data privacy, and customer targeting (they don't do any of it), and it's refreshing to work for an ad tech company that puts data privacy and integrity first. The company is also fully remote. It's a huge bonus for team members that have young family commitments.

Cons

The company is scaling quick so things can change pretty fast. You have to be proactive in keeping up and getting the latest information.

Pros

BuySellAds is made up of a deeply kind and caring group of people. You'll build life-long relationships that go beyond the 9-5 grind. Great benefits (healthcare, retirement matching, home office stipend). Work with household brands and gain insight into their acquisition strategy. They're always trying new ways to make work fun & engaging, with happy hours, coworking sessions, and friendly competitions.

Cons

Most roles are client facing in some form, which can be great or not great depending on the individual client. As a revenue-driven organization, there's always the need to be ROI-positive as a team. While BSA is a very accommodating, people-first organization, there's a reasonable level of pressure to hit revenue targets. There's a substantial learning curve for new hires, given the many different channels BSA represents. It's a hurdle that, once you get past it, isn't typically an issue.
