Pros
Friendly, outgoing staff. If you have the drive and determination, you can progress your career pretty quick. PTO & 401k for officer level and above is good, as are other benefits.
Cons
Leadership is completely disconnected from the rest of the bank and there is little to no transparency. One day the CEO is praising the progress, the next they're consolidating branches, laying hard working employees off, and cutting budgets. One executive was let go and the department was not informed for weeks, if not months after; with zero insight on how the department would realign. More often than not, countless projects get funded, then either fail miserably or fizzle out and forgotten about. Utter refusal (and quite frankly, competence) to upgrade legacy banking systems, other critical technologies; in addition to countless antiquated manual processes management seems to want to invest into improving is a tell-tale sign they're posturing to be bought out by a larger bank in the not-too-distant future. Anyone with any sort of forecasting skill can see this and know their job may be in jeopardy.
