Pros

If you join CLP and work for JLR, you'll likely go through the onboarding, training, and SOPs that I personally helped design and implement during my time in leadership. So, there's your pro. You're welcome.

Cons

If you're considering a role here as an SDR or "BDP," here’s what you should expect: Extremely high call volume – You will be required to make 150+ cold calls per day with little to no alternative outbound strategies (no email, LinkedIn, etc.).. Misleading sales tactics – Reps are "strongly encouraged" to use an alias rather than their real names when speaking to prospects. If your name is John Smith, it will not be for much longer you will be required. *ahem* sorry, encouraged, to go by another name, or you wont have a job. Pressure to manipulate – The company pushes a sales methodology where reps imply prior contact with prospects, even when there has been none, to get meetings booked. Unrealistic commission structure – Expect to hold 20+ meetings per month to earn a commission that hardly justifies the effort. The only way most reps meet these quotas is by using the tactics they are pressured to follow. Company Culture – Deeply Concerning Leadership – The culture here is driven by an unhealthy and manipulative leadership style. The CEO frequently shares stories in company-wide meetings that raise serious ethical concerns. For example: He proudly tells a personal story about how he manipulated his now-wife into a relationship, a story he presents as an example of how he "gets what he wants"—which he then ties directly into his sales philosophy. Conversations with leadership often involve inappropriate comparisons—for example, I was personally told a story about organized crime and was then told by the CEO that he sees himself as a “Mafia boss” who “takes care” of people. Additionally, political beliefs are strongly interwoven into company culture. Leadership openly mocks political opponents in company meetings, and the CEO keeps overtly political materials in his office. Regardless of your stance, the workplace is not a place for this level of political involvement. Serious Ethical Concerns About Business Practices Beyond the sales team, clients should also be aware: Companies pay for dedicated full-time reps, yet in reality, those same reps are also calling for other clients. Some of the reps making calls on behalf of clients are not even full-time employees to CLP. This is not transparent to clients, which raises serious ethical and contractual concerns. Leadership Turnover and Lack of Loyalty – If you manage to climb into leadership, be warned: tenure and loyalty mean nothing here. I personally replaced a long-standing leader who had been with the company for nearly a decade. Leadership decisions are made based on convenience rather than merit or loyalty. Final Thoughts – This job is not worth your time unless you are comfortable working in an environment where manipulation is encouraged, ethics are flexible, and leadership fosters a toxic culture. There are far better opportunities out there—run far, far away.

Pros

There are worse jobs out there but this is lowest of the low when it comes to being an SDR Remote Anti socialist company that make it clear they are not like most other companies investing in DEI

Cons

0 benefits until after 3 months After you’ve worked 3 months your base salary is lowered by 10 grand and are expected to make most of your money off of commission Toxic leadership that expect you to work odd times and enourage you to work past 6pm even if you have a family Will fire you without any hesitation and not offer much to any help if you aren’t selling Holding meetings is very hard considering the companies you’re selling the meetings for most people have never heard of
