Pros
- You get the opportunity to work with really amazing families, which made the job fulfilling and rewarding. - Can be a great team environment; I was fortunate to work with a supportive and collaborative center team and district. - I had strong leadership and senior leadership for most of my time at the company, which helped me grow both professionally and personally. - The role provided plenty of learning opportunities, and I gained valuable skills that will benefit me moving forward.
Cons
- The last district manager I had was a major issue. Under his leadership (if you can call it that), 6 out of 8 center directors and 2 out of 8 education coordinators left in just 5 months. Several more have left since. - The district manager’s approach was manipulative and dishonest, and his incompetence had a direct negative impact on morale and turnover. Before he arrived, the team had long-tenured employees (some with 15+ years), but by the time I left, the longest-tenured team member had been there only 6 months. - Despite multiple concerns raised to HR including specific instances that contributed to the turnover, no meaningful action was taken.
