Pros

Excellent co-workers Reasonable benefits Ability to flex time and telecommute on occasion Bonuses every year and spot bonuses throughout the year Employee Owned Steady Growth

Cons

Salary advancement is slow--you can only expect a 2.5% increase yearly. Lots of management turnover and shake ups. Over 30 C-suite, VPs and Directors have left in the last 8 years. This causes turbulence and a lack of certainty on direction of the company. Does not instill confidence in the CEO. You can only really advance your career here if someone cares about you--no corporate mentor program. Career levels clearly defined, but could use an overhaul in terms of expectations on how to go to the next level and what that means for you as an employee. CEO seems to be struggling to bring CALIBRE into the 21st century and uses management techniques that worked when the company was a small, but do not work now that it is a medium tier company.
