Ridiculous steps of service (the company expects the waiters to follow ten steps of service, run food and drinks, have tables in and out ((while the next group is waiting at the bar)), clear tables, explain the menu ((all the cuts!)), offer 'flatbread of the day' and lots of other stupid things in order to not fail a Mystery Diner. And take £1,500 on top of that. Modern slavery, gave me nightmares. Too many loud children and their ignorant and irredponsible parents. Leaving the job (even though I did not have another job when I was leaving) was the best decision I made in 2018. Oh, I forgot to add the ugly washed-out 'blue' shirts, black aprons and ugly-trendy Vans Old Skool shoes as the uniform.

Good, efficient team and spirit Trying new food and drinks menus Free staff food - minimal effort from chefs - understandable Staff parties - though i didnt go (my own fault at the time), commonly seemed to be management and very long termers. Drinks throughout shift, mostly when needed

It's a busy restaurant, its stressful. A little cliquey i thought, but may have been down to my own shortcomings. I got lightly trained on bar, as i had wanted this move, though it took a while, and i was passed over several times, i expect for lack of experience reasons, but it was frustrating nonetheless.
