Pros
The coffee is actually tasty.
Cons
It was very obvious to me when I first started that the owner and his wife, Jane, were not concerned with the well-being of their employees. I decided I would try it out, just in case my first impression was wrong. Within three days of working there, I was given no breaks and was yelled at numerous times. I worked as a Social Media Assistant and quickly made an effort to fix the broken English that scattered their every page. I was yelled at for doing so by the owner, who needed another worker to translate what he wanted me to do because he spoke no English. He was so unsatisfied with my changing his wording that he insisted I use his Google translated descriptions about smooth bowel movements. He and Jane were constantly arguing and even the secretary at the front desk would roll her eyes at their behavior.
When I started my position I was meant to be part time, but they told me they wanted me there full time, which my schedule didn't allow for. I agreed to stay full time for the first couple days, but then my schedule would have to become part time. When I emailed Jane to give her notice of my schedule change, she told me not to come back. And, I hate to say it, but being let go in that very moment had me so relieved!
Please don't waste your time with these people. This is not a healthy work environment. Find a position with a company that will treat their employees right.
