Pros

Decent wages, consistent hours, overtime opportunities

Cons

Too many levels of management, lack of communication between management and frontline staff, understaffing, blatant favouritism from management, will sometimes ignore policies in order to save money, upper management doesn't seem to understand the mental health sector, upper management has tried undermining frontline staff, micromanagement is very common, resources are difficult to come by, staff are promised opportunities for education and certification but have their requests ignored when they try to act on it, lack of consistency between frontline, team leads, and management.
