Pros

Gas-lighting and more, if you're not family don't bother

Cons

I stuck with them, then they decided the economy downturn was the employees fault. The company keeps shrinking and 6 day weeks for all salesman. They don't care about the employees only family.

Pros

Friendly office ladies- free lunches

Cons

-The person you will train under is part owner and doesn't know how to stay on topic, or deliver a concise and to-the-point presentation and training experience. He will ramble all day and you'll feel brain-fried from listening, but also like you learned very little. And, he literally brags about how coldly/ without hesitation he will fire people and has done so many times. So you'll always feel like you're walking on egg shells around him & be worried if you say the wrong thing it could get you canned. -You drive your own vehicle and are not given a gas allowance of any form. So if you don't close that deal you'll actually have spent money driving out there for nothing. -They'll find any and every excuse to short change you. You'll need to be extremely proficient in logging separately your Add-ons. If the contractor needs extra materials for the project they will dock those from your commission. -Don't let the ride alongs fool you. Managers can and will sell things at the lowest possible price- it will make the job look easy. When you're on your own you'll realize the price that you have to sell at to consistently close deals, gets you a extremely low commission percentage. -When/if you decide to leave they will not pay you any outstanding commissions for jobs that haven't been installed yet. Which is definitely illegal but really what can you do short of getting a lawyer or causing a fuss? Nothing.
