Pros

You feel good helping the patients.

Cons

Seriously hostile and unfair environment. Company had way too much politics and it made the job harder. It did not matter how hard you worked because favoritism always seemed to win. Some employees could get away with almost anything while others got all the blame. Watching that happen over and over was frustrating and made it hard to stay motivated. Good workers slowly left, while the same problems stayed around. It became clear pretty quickly who management cared about and who they did not. The biggest disappointment was upper management. They seemed more focused on money than the people actually doing the work. Employees were rarely appreciated and support was hard to find when it was needed. Most decisions seemed completely disconnected from what was happening day to day. It often felt like the people making decisions had no idea what employees were dealing with. Morale stayed low because nobody felt heard. There was very little trust between staff and leadership. Communication was another constant problem. One person would tell you one thing and someone else would tell you the opposite. The scheduling coordinator had a reputation for being a liar. Simple issues turned into bigger problems because nobody seemed willing to give a direct answer. Employees spent too much time trying to figure out what was actually going on. It created unnecessary stress and frustration for everyone involved. The culture was not professional at all. Some coworkers behaved however they wanted and management looked the other way. Reporting issues could easily come back on the person reporting them instead of fixing the problem and the lack of accountability was impossible to ignore. There was also no real path forward. Training was limited, growth opportunities were almost nonexistent, and employees were expected to figure things out on their own. Nepotism is the only way to get ahead in this place, they promote absolutely useless people all the time.
