1. Top tier when it comes to nonprofit fundraising. 2. A really great opportunity to network and travel in the nonprofit world.
Cons
1. Disappointing in the lack of professional development. Poor guidance and direction. Highly recommend an external team come in and provide an assessment/recommendations on being better leaders and a better organization. 2. Lack of communication from higher leadership to provide expectations. Perfection is expected and mistakes are not taken lightly. 3. Definitely an environment where favoritism is shown. Regardless of work ethic, there is a social aspect that comes into play in regards to relationships with leadership (good-ole club). 4. The pay is decent for nonprofit world; however, well below industry standard in the consulting world. 5. Lack of the ability to choose and manage your career trajectory. 6. Lack of vacation days (10/year).
